On 20 July, 2 members of Regency IT Consulting, Director Phil Sandford and Consultant Ray Neal, joined Miles Clee of Deep Secure and Martin Sugden of Boldon James to participate in the Annual Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) Golf Tournament held at Bowood Spa and Leisure Resort in Wiltshire.
Some twenty teams congregated at the event early in the morning, with the rain holding off, for a welcoming hot bacon roll and coffee before the golf commenced.
The golf was split into the morning’s 9 Hole Texas Scramble which the team, operating under the name of Deep Secure, won convincingly with a score of 32, including an Albatross at the 8th hole. The afternoon, was an 18 Hole Stableford competition which the team put up a good fight and finished a credible 6th
The evening function included a 5 course meal and raffle raising money for the AFCEA charities.
