Proving Regency’s continued commitment to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Certified Professional (CCP) scheme, William Wardrope this week recertified as a SENIOR Practitioner after 3 years in the Information System Security Manager role.
William is one of the very few who have achieved certification at any level in the Information Systems Security role in comparison with the other roles available on the CCP scheme. William’s achievement reinforces the Regency statement that we are continuously looking to enhance our capability in the Cyber Security and Information Assurance space.
The NCSC is a key part of the UK Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) and was set up to help protect the UK critical services from cyber attacks, managing major incidents and to improve the underlying security of the UK Internet through technological improvement and advice to citizens and organisations. The NCSC vision is to help make the UK the safest place to live and do business online, Regency IT Consulting is equally committed to this vision and all our security consultants are certified in one or more roles on the CCP scheme.
The NCSC Certified Professional (CCP) scheme addresses the growing need for specialists within the cyber security profession, it sets the standard for UK cyber security professionals and was adopted by Regency from its inception in 2012.
The NCSC website states that CCP is not just a qualification — it is a certification which is awarded to those who demonstrate their sustained ability to apply their skills, knowledge and expertise in real-world situations.
Andrew Cooke, MD of Regency, the Senior Management Team and all within the Company congratulate William on his achievement.
